From the Brunca region specially selected by farms of: Aurelio Hernandez, Marco Ney Hernandez Alexander Ilama, Karina Calderón.
Only cherries from young coffee trees of 3-5 years of age are harvested , specially separated, registered
and transported to the wet mill where the coffee is sun dried with the pulp to obtain the particular flavour. The storage in grain pro bags guarantees and preserves the distinctive sweet and fruity taste until its final destination.
Flavour Notes: Sweet, Marzipan aroma. Dried prunes flavour, mildly acetic acidity with thin body and notes of berries in the finish.
Named after the late Don Claudio Gamboa Calderon, who was not only a passionate coffee grower, but a visionary, who along with 390 growers in the area came together to form this coop in November 1962.
